Frequently Asked Questions
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please fill out the forms prior to our visit. Bring any supplies you are using. Try to plan for a feed at the start of the appointment. If your baby is hungry, it is ok to give just enough to hold them off.
What is the difference between an IBCLC & other Lactation Specialists?
An IBCLC is the highest clinical credential, requiring hundreds of clinical hours and health science prerequisites. Non-IBCLCs (CBS/CLC) are entry-level without clinical hours or prerequisites.
What makes you different?
As a Christian, my faith-based approach sets me apart. That being said, I am happy to work with people of all backgrounds and beliefs. I strive to be respectful to all of my clients.
Do you offer support after consultations?
I am available by phone, email, or text for 7 days after our visit for basic questions about the feeding plan. For more complex support, please schedule a follow up.
How do I book an appointment?
For private pay, please click Book Consultation at the top of the page. For office and/or insurance coverage, please find out more information and book my services through at Love at First Latch.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel as soon as possible within at least 24 hours of the appointment to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.
