Welcome, I’m Jeanette.
I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I help families reach their feeding goals with art, science, and a leap of faith.
As a micro-preemie and twin mama, I specialize in post NICU feeding transition plans and overcoming postpartum anxiety.
I am currently contracted with Love at First Latch.
“As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you.” —Isaiah 66:13
My Approach
Caring + Collaborative
I am family-centered in everything I do. Parents deserve to be in the driver’s seat of their feeding plan. Through information gathering, thorough evaluation, and back-and-forth discussion, each family’s feeding plan is customized to meet their unique situation and goals. I am neurodiversity affirming in my approach due to my experience with ADHD and close connection with autistic family members.
Evidence + Faith Based
Evidence-based practice is the foundation for all of my recommendations. That being said, feeding infants relies on the unseen. I strive to provide an alternative to strictly numerical based data. Leaning into our village and the wisdom of our ancestors builds trust and is at the heart of breastfeeding. Sometimes it’s best to disconnect from left brain data and move into the right brain side of mothering with intuition, mindfulness, and faith.
What Clients are Saying
"Jeanette was a saving grace as I navigated my first breastfeeding journey. She brought patience, compassion, reassurance and understanding anytime I saw her. She helped me understand what to expect and what was normal. She was so knowledgeable. Odds were against my daughter and I as we had a few hospital stays before she was 2 months old causing lots of stress and anxiety. Jeanette was always there with input and reassurance. Without Jeanette I don’t know if my breastfeeding journey would have been successful. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for an LC."
Breanna Vielguth, Former Client
"Jeanette was an absolutely wonderful support. She was exactly the calming, reassuring presence we needed. I loved that she never pushed anything—she listened, offered suggestions, and encouraged me to trust my intuition. She was also so accommodating and understanding when the baby wasn’t cooperating, and she was incredibly kind about checking in between visits. I 100% recommend Jeanette to anyone who finds their breastfeeding journey challenging or just wants caring support along the way. Thank you, Jeanette!"
